Project Manager - Outreach (UNFPP)

Employment Type: Full Time 

Job Location: Kathmandu with frequent field visits

Education level: Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree in management, health sciences, social sciences or other relevant degree or equivalent. Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience required: at least 5 years of work experience in relevant field. Preferably at least 2 years’ experience in family planning programs and experience of project management would be an added advantage.

Job Description: 

• The position holder will be responsible for overall management of Family Planning project funded by UNFPA 
• S/he should plan, budget and manage the project activities. Besides, the position holder should liaise with stakeholders in the district to operate the project activities in a smooth manner
• Apart from facilitating the project activities by coordinating for logistical and administrative support, the position holder should ensure that all the documents and records related to the activities isproperly maintained and reported
• S./he should build the capacity of service providers on various family planning methods especially of Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARC)
