Job Description
Television producers responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of a production, from start to finish:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and supervising all aspects of production: Set design, choreography, lighting, performances, sound, editing.
- Manage budget
- Create programs ideas, write, edit stories and news
- Scout prospects, guest and crews.
- Fundraise and network with financial back
- Secure rights to creative works such as films, books, music
Skills and Qualification Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Creative and innovative: Storytelling skills.
- Management skills: Manage crew, cameraman, editor and other players that everyone works together successfully.
- Communication skills: Convey ideas to staff and to promote programs to the media prospects and viewers.
- Troubleshooting skills: Quickly be able to solve technical issues and problems.
- Financial skills: Understand the financial aspect of programs.
- Business skills: Make the program and project successful
