POSITION PURPOSE

 In conjunction with the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for maximizing rooms/F&B/ Conference and Banqueting business from a defined account base. Proactively uncovering ne prospects for the hotel and maximizing conversion of business in line with Hotels’ budgetary goals. This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised using own initiative.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • ·         Proactively manage a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives. Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is executed in a timely manner.
  • ·         Proactively prospecting new accounts for the Hotel and Starwood properties worldwide and following the sales process through to convert into ‘producing accounts.
  • ·         Take personal responsibility to ensure that Standards are maintained and that system is utilized to its full capacity including the mandatory smart contracting process.
  • ·         Maintain up-to-date activity and rate information for each account. To understand and be in a position to action any group and events Team.
  • ·         To attend when required trade and networking events as a representative of Marriott Hotel, ensuring that the quality image of the organization is portrayed, and that every opportunity is taken to promote the Hotel.
  • ·         To take personal responsibility for understanding the Sales plan of the Hotel and the required budgetary guidelines, to enable empowered decisions in all rate negotiations.



QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

  • ·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales as Sales Specialist is required in hotel industry;
  • ·         Superior analytical skills required;
  • ·         Bachelor degree required, additional education in sales and marketing fields preferred;
  • ·         Have the ability to plan and prioritize in order to achieve deadlines;

  POSITION PURPOSE


To assist the Director of Security in ensuring the safety and security of guests, associates and the property. Security supervisor is responsible to supervise the training, working and performance of Security Guards and ensure compliance on safety & security policies of the hotel. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         To efficiently supervise and manage the Security Guards during his/her shift.
·         To train Security Guards in all laid down drills & procedures related to safety & security standards in the hotel.
·         Maintain and update all training records as directed by the Director.
·         Ensure maintenance and upkeep of all security related equipment in the department.
·         Bring into the notice of the Director any security breach by any associate in the hotel.
·         Pin point the faults in any equipment to engineering and ensure fault rectification.
·         To act as Liaison between the Security Department Administration in the absence of the Director of Security.
·         Maintain Liaison with local police Station, Fire Station and nearest Hospital.
·         To deploy Security Guards during his Shift.
·         To make periodic ‘Rounds’ of Sentry posts to check alertness and compliance of Standing Orders.
·         To periodically inspect serviceability of firefighting equipment in the hotel.
·         Inspect the log of entry and exit of personnel, materials, vehicles and stores at the commencement of his duty and at the end of his duty.
·         Be totally accountable for all happenings during his shift.



QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

·         Training in Fire Fighting, First Aid and saving drills from a certified institution.
·         Previous experience in security setup is mandatory

POSITION PURPOSE:
·         To provide our guests an on brand and personalized arrival experience by allocating the rooms based on the preferences and the reason of stay.
·         Follow and implement Sheraton Grande Brand Standards/Guidelines.
·         To effectively contribute in a high GSS loyalty composite through recognition, friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency.
·         Ensure all FO KPIs goals are all in control and achieved.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·         Ensure that services provided are in harmony with our Sheraton core values.
·         Assist the Front Office Manager and the Assistants with the daily Operations.
·         Assign the rooms according to the guest requests, preferences and purpose of the stay, using the MAR and the pre arrival email sent by the Club or the Lobby Ambassadors team.
·         Review, track, and accommodate requests for room/check out between 12.00 and 1.30 PM to the appropriate department.
·         Follow and coordinate with HSK Queue Rooms.
·         Review with HSK and AFOM the room Out Of Order/ Out Of Service on daily basis.
·         Review the room inventory with AFOM and streamline if necessary, handle room type overbooking.
·         Ensure accuracy between VIKAS and DTCM system.
·         Ensure the passports and Emirates ID are scanned in VIKAS and accuracy of system Check in, Check Out, Room move.
·         3 days in advance and daily allocate VIPs, groups, and other special reservation.
·         Ensure follow up on service recovery and defects reports with GSAs and AFOMS and update on SGR.
·         Profile management SPG & Opera.
·         Drive the team to achieve monthly Departmental KPIs.
·         SPG Enrolments.
·         Star Push.
·         COFC daily capture ratio of 25% of check outs.
·         MAGC daily take rate of 15% of occupied rooms.
·         Mini Bar Calls 80%.
·         Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to ensure a complete guests satisfaction.
·         Develop and maintain positive working relationship and conduct briefings.
·         Conduct daily SOP briefings.
·         Ensure the strict follow up on the implementation of the WELCOME upon Check in and FAREWELL upon check out.
·         Ensure the strict follow up on the implementation of the WEL COME upon Check in and FAREWELL upon check out.
·         Ensure strict compliance with Sheraton Brand Standards in all related tasks and duties achieving 90% or above in the Quality Audit inspection.
·         100% daily usage of the Master Arrival Report to deliver GPS initiative successfully to our guests.
·         Ensure smooth and clear communication with all other FO, HK, Club, room Service and Engineering associates.
·          Ensure compliance with PCI policies.
·         Acquire the proper product knowledge needed to perform your job properly.

Spa Attendants are responsible for delivering exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of the spa operation in line the Hotel brand standard and Soul Wellness and Spa standards, whilst delivering excellent five star client care. Responsible for performing spa set up and close down procedures and ensuring all guest amenities are replenished throughout the day.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         Set up and close down the spa as per the brand standards set down by the Hotel and Soul Wellness and Spa, using relevant checklists.
·         Carry out a regular walk though of the entire spa to ensure cleanliness, working facilities, adequate stock levels of guest amenities and linens, removal of dirty linen, candles lit and checking flower displays.
·         Ensure client lockers turned around quickly with the appropriate amenities and presentation.
·         Removal of dirty linen from the spa without disturbing the client experience, delivering it to the relevant housekeeping area.
·         Maintain the cleanliness and adequate stocking of the therapist preparation areas.
·         Liaise with relevant F&B outlets to receive refreshments for the spa ready for opening and refreshing throughout the day.
·         Aid therapists in setting up for treatments and clearing away after.
·         Courtesy to guests at all times offering assistance where required.
·         Maintain a good knowledge of treatments and services offered in the spa to assist with guest enquiries.
·         Attend to guests in both the relaxation and waiting areas ensuring that they are comfortable as well as offering refreshments.
·         Support reception by taking guests’ shoes and guiding to changing rooms, as well as pointing out the location of heat experiences and relaxation areas and explaining their use.
·         Monitor the maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the spa and fitness area, reporting any issues to Duty Manager/ Hotel Maintenance.
·         Responsible for pool plant testing during spa operating hours, ensuring chlorine and PH level, recording findings to maintain an accurate record.
·         Maintain the cleanliness of the entire Spa in particular the changing rooms, toilets, and showers plus relax areas. Theses should be kept in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner in accordance with Soul Wellness and Spa and Health and Safety Standards.
·         Receive training to ensure that all relevant legislation pertaining to the Health and Safety at work Law and Health and Hygiene standards are implemented in advance of starting work.
·         Perform any other duties deemed reasonable by management showing flexibility to cover areas outside the listed responsibilities.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Guest Service Agent will provide our guests with an on brand personalized arrival and departure experience and ensure guest ledgers are well controlled. He/ She will also effectively contribute in a high GSS loyalty composite through recognition, friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency as well as will:
·         Ensure that service provided are in harmony are in harmony with our Sheraton core values.
·         Ensure that our guests receive an on brand personalized experience upon arrival, departure and throughout their stay;
·         Acknowledge and recognize SPG members and deliver the related welcome amenities upon arrival for SPG and G members;
·         Ensure implementation of the WELCOME upon Check in and FAREWELL upon check out;
·         Ensure strict compliance with Sheraton Brand Standards in all related tasks and duties achieving 90% or above in the LRA inspection;
·         Control high balance report on a daily basis;
·         Ensure rooms allocated for VIPs are not changed unless amenities and related GPS initiatives are shifted;
·         Acquire the product and service knowledge needed to perform your job property;
·         Ensure that guests’ requests are fulfilled and closed in SG within 15 minutes as average response time;

POSITION PURPOSE
 Prepare and service beverages for servers and guests I a speedy, efficient, friendly, and professional manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • ·         Ensure that the bellmen delivers a warm arrival experience (Welcome module) to the guest as per the Sheraton Brand Standard.
  • ·         Ensure that bellmen follows the 5:10 rule at all time.
  • ·         Ensure that bellmen deliver the luggage to the room within 10 minutes upon arrival and brings down within 10 minutes upon departure.

  • ·         Ensure that the bell team adheres to all grooming standards and hygiene practices.
